The FindingTalentSooner process* helps you reduce the time spent screening the good applicants from the poor applicants, while focusing on gathering the right information about attitudes and job-fit.  Together, these help to increase your chances of finding good people, sooner.

Step 1: First Interview On-line
At the heart of FindingTalentSooner is the on-line first interview. This combines the initial application and first interview into one simple, and efficient step, saving significant amounts of time and energy for hiring managers as there is no interaction between the hiring manager and the candidate at this stage. The first interview quickly gathers the relevant information needed regarding experience and job specific skills, but it goes a step further by asking actively probing questions that assess the applicant’s attitudes towards co-workers, supervisors and team effort. These job-fit focused questions along with other sections are customizable so that each OYF Consulting customer can tailor the first interview to their specific needs. The first interview helps offer managers a deeper insight into an applicant's true self; more than any resume or standard application will reveal.

Step 2: First Interview Review
The searchable information from the online first interview will help you to quickly identify those candidates that stand out from the rest. You can then develop specific areas for follow up questioning and clarification. The follow-up scripted questioning is done during a 4 -8 minute telephone interview instead of having to invest time in arranging a face-to-face interview.
